Sendwise offers data import from CSV files during the onboarding process.
This page describes what data can be imported and how it can be done.
The CSV upload functionality is only for onboarding/testing purposes. For live operation you need to use one of the supported Shop Integrations.
What Data Can Be Imported During Onboarding?
You can import shipments to your shop.
Where Can I Import Shipments Via CSV?
During Onboarding navigate to the "Connect your shop" page. At the bottom of the page you'll see a box with title "Can't wait to integrate?"
Click on the "(›) Upload a CSV file" link and upload your file* that contains the shipments to import.

Fields In The CSV File
|carrierName||eg. `dhl`, `dpd` or `postat`. Refer to the doc or API for a full list.|
|carrierCountry||The 2 letter iso code of the Country. Refer to the doc or Carrier API for available country/carrier pairs.|
|trackingCode||The (carrier) tracking code.|
|orderId||The number/id of the order as registered in the shop's system. aka `shopOrderId`.|
|Order Related Fields|
|orderCreationDate||DateTime, format `2019-01-21 11:27:35`|
|orderPromisedDeliveryDate||DateTime, format `2019-01-21 11:27:35`|
|shopUrl||The URL of the shop where the order was placed.|
|language||The 2 letter language code of the order. Accepted values (as of 2nd Jan 2019): "bg", "hr", "cs", "da", "nl", "en", "et", "fi", "fr", "de", "el", "hu", "ga", "it", "lv", "lt", "mt", "pl", "pt", "ro", "ru", "sk", "sl", "es", "sv", "uk"|
|Shipment Customer Address Fields|
|firstName||The first name of the customer|
|lastName||The last name of the customer|
|companyName||The company name of the customer|
|email||The email address of the customer|
|phone||The phone number of the customer|
|address||The address of the customer (street name, number, etc)|
|postalCode||The postal/zip code of the customer's address|
|city||The city of the customer's address|
|country||The 2 letter iso country code of the customer's address.|
|Other Shipment Fields|
|weight||The weight of the shipment in kg. Provide only numbers eg. "1.75", use "." (dot) as decimal separator.|
|plannedPickUpDate||DateTime, format `2019-01-21 11:27:35`|
|warehouseId||The name of the warehouse. Refer to the Warehouse API for the list of available warehouses.|
|serviceLevel||"standard", "express" or"other"|
|isAPickUpPoint||Set to "1" if the destination address is a pickup point.|
|isAReturn||Set to "1" if the shipment is a return shipment.|
The CSV Template
About The Format
- The file encoding must be UTF-8.
- Use comma (",") as column separator, quote fields with double quotation marks: " (not apostrophes).
- The first row of the CSV file MUST contain the headers.
- The header has to contain field names according to the Field Name lists above.
- The order of the columns is irrelevant.
- You can omit any optional field in the CSV file (including their headers).
